Staff at our CHESS office in Kempsey are doing terrific work engaging with and supporting the community!
Sue Read (Employment & Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) and Karen Vidler (Partners in Recovery) are pictured here in the vibrant Kempsey office which features artwork from the local community.
Kempsey has a significant Aboriginal community and both Karen and Sue have worked hard to create an inviting and welcoming space to welcome people into. The artwork you see here was created by students at Macleay Vocational Learning College.
This second piece was created by PHaM’s service users as part of a ‘colour therapy’ project. Once the colouring in was complete the artwork was so brilliant it was framed to adorn the office walls!
We are preparing to complement our current PIR and PHaMs services offering NDIS supports from July 2017 and CHESS Clyde Street will be an excellent shop front to offer our services from. For more information on CHESS agencies across the Coffs, Clarence and Macleay regions visit our site.
