NAIDOC Week 2017

On the first week of July NAIDOC celebrations are held to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of First Nation Australians

The 2017 NAIDOC theme is “Our Languages Matter’ which highlights essential role that Indigenous languages play in cultural identity, linking people to their land and water and in the transmission of history and spirituality.

This year CHESS will have a presence at several community events held across the Coffs Harbour and Clarence Valley regions.

At our stalls we’ll be holding a free bike raffle giveaway, traditional painting and more!
