We’re proud as punch to announce that we took home not one but TWO awards at the 2017 Clarence Valley Business Excellence awards!

We were very grateful to be presented with the Community & Not for Profit award. We’re committed to the community we live and work in and it is lovely to be recognised for the work we do within the Clarence Valley.

We had a couple of funny moments and a couple of very proud ones at the awards ceremony on Saturday night. Yamba and Maclean Team Manager Naomi Elliott had this to say:

“Never a prouder moment in my professional career than last night standing next to Cate listening to her speech. It was perfect . She absolutely nailed it.”

Grafton site manager Cate gave a wonderful speech, dedicated to the CHESS team and our mission to provide people with the tools and support they need to live a ‘Strong Life’ of independence and inclusion. You can watch part of her speech below.

We were also surprised and delighted to be presented with the Better Access Award which recognises commitment to both staff and customers with disabilities, mental or physical.

We would like to thank the organisers of the CVBEA’s and the other finalists and award winners on the night for playing a big part in strengthening the Clarence Valley community.
